Primary Responsibilities |

Ø RFQ ( request for quotations ):- The position role is for all the functions for the Quotations, The position role for getting the quotations are done, The position role will include getting the quotations are forwarding to the marketing section, The role will include coordinating with the parties for obtaining the quotations and other details for initiating the product. Ø Time Plan :- The position role is for submitting the time plan for the manufacturing of the export product and getting the same approved from the concerned authorities or in-case of non approval revising the same and getting it approved Ø Feasibility Study :- The position role will include all functions regarding the product feasibility including making available the detailed study on it. Ø Drawing Procurement :- The position role is for drawing procurement and forwarding the same to the Tool Room for designing the component. Ø Advance Product Quality Planning :- The position is responsible for APQP, the position will ensure that the five steps of the APQP which will include Plan and Define Program, and Development, Verification , Process Design and Development Verification, Product and Process validate & Launch, Feedback, Assessment & Corrective Action. The position will perform the 7 major elements of the APQP which will include Understanding the needs of the customer, Proactive feedback and corrective action, Designing within the process capabilities, Analyzing and mitigating failure modes, Verification and validation, Design reviews & Control special \ critical characteristics. The process will include doing FMEA, PPAP, MSA and SPC of the component. Ø Documentation of PPAP :- The position is responsible for the documentation of the PPAP, The position will ensure that the PPAP documents are done as per the requirement. The position will ensure that the all Production Part Approval Process documentation is available at the time of audit or any other requirement. Authorized Engineering change (note) Documents, Engineering Approval, Process Flow Diagram, PFM, Control Plan, Measurement System Analysis Studies, Dimensional Results, Records of Material/Performance Tests, Initial Process Studies, Qualified Laboratory Documentation, Appearance Approval Report. Sample Production Parts, Master Sample, Checking Aids, Customer Specific Requirements & Part Submission Warrant (PSW) are readily available as per the requirement or in case of customer request or audit any other activity. Ø Development Scheduling :- The position is responsible for scheduling of the product development. The position will ensure that the target dates are assigned and the development of the same takes place as per the defined time frame. The position will ensure that the scheduling of the task is communicated to the persons concerned with the project. Ø Trial Rum of the Product Developed :- The position role will include doing the trial run of the new product developed. The product will monitor the production of the first three to four lots of the product . The position will monitor that the product is as per defined parameter and design specification the position will also ensure that if there is any variance then the necessary corrective action is taken for correcting it. The position will then hand over the product to the shop floor for production in the desired shop floor. The role will also include doing initial sampling and monitoring as per the engineering guidelines. The position role will include that the lot manufactured is as per the specification including ensuring that all measures are taken so that the product is as per the customer requirement. Ø Customer Visit / Correspondence :- The position role will ensure that all customer interaction takes place as per requirements. The position role will include interacting with the customer and providing him with all the details required and sought by them. This will also include arranging the visit to the customer to the plant. Ø Presentation to the Customers :- The position role is for providing the support and the data required for making the presentations. The position role will include coordination with the plant head and other senior management for making the presentation to the management. The position role will insure that the presentation shows all details which help us in achieving the desired objective. Ø Audit :- The position role is for arranging / coordinating the audit of the customers. This role will include providing all the details to the auditors. The position role will also include communicating the requirements of the customers/ auditors to the concerned departments including regular follow up with them for ensuring that all the details are available at the time of audit. Ø CIS :- The position is responsible for preparing CIS , it will include calculating process cost, material cost, BOP cost and consumable cost. The position will ensure that the CIS sheets have all the costing details. The position will ensure all the details are available as per requirement. Ø Detailed Engineering :- The position is responsible for ding detailed engineering which will include detailing the Operating parameters, Operating and non operating environment stimuli, Test requirements , External dimensions Maintenance and test-ability provisions, Material requirements, Reliability requirements, External surface treatment, Design life, Packaging requirements. The position will ensure that all the details are readily available as per need and requirement.
Ø New Product Development:- 1. Cost & capacity estimation of new product to be taken up for production. 2. Study, development & trial of the manufacturing process for production of new product/alternation in an existing product. 3. Planning, Providing & Monitoring the manufacturing systems like - layout, equipment, process, and manpower planning for new product. 4. New Product Development with PPAP
Ø Documentation:- l Oversee adherence to documentation norms in order to ensure product development in line with customer demands. |
